2010 International AIDS Conference

The International AIDS Conference, which takes place every two years, brings together many thousands of people committed to ending the HIV pandemic – including policymakers, health care workers, researchers, activists, and persons living with HIV.

After years of research and scientific evidence showing that HIV infection rates are significantly reduced wherever opioid substitution programs are made available and accessible to injection drug users, the HIV/AIDS community has not been forceful enough in fighting for these treatments.

Methadone and buprenorphine are life saving medicines that reduce dependency on heroin and the sharing of contaminated syringes! By increasing access to these medicines, we can help stop HIV in its tracks!

Lend your support at the 2010 International AIDS Conference along with Methadone Man and Buprenorphine Babe as they help draw attention to the millions of people around the world waiting for their chance to lead longer and healthier lives.
